# Enable debug logging

POST https://api.getzep.com/api/v4/debug-logs/enable

Enables debug logging for the project for one hour, or for 24 hours on the Enterprise plan. Episodes ingested while debug logging is enabled have a debug log (see `graph.episode.get_debug_logs`). On the Flex, Flex Plus, and Enterprise plans, the operation also enables ingestion tracing (see `graph.episode.list_ingestion_traces`); `ingestion_trace_enabled` reports the result. A repeated call starts the duration again.

## Authentication

- `Authorization` header (required) (prefixed with ` Api-Key  `) — Type "Api-Key" followed by a space and the project API key.

- `duration_seconds` (integer, optional) — The number of seconds that debug logging stays enabled.
- `ingestion_trace_enabled` (boolean, optional) — Tells if ingestion tracing was also enabled. Ingestion tracing is available on the Flex, Flex Plus, and Enterprise plans.
